Amenities
As a fully-funded school club, we have access to top-notch facilities and resources to facilitate a successful student-athlete experience during their time with the ACHA program.
Travel
We travel to all games by charter bus and stay at hotels for any overnight trips. Post-game meals are delivered to the bus after games to ensure players are well-fed.
Equipment
Players are provided game and practice jerseys, game and practice socks, team apparel, and discounts on various equipment including:
- sticks
- helmets
- gloves
- skates
- protective gear
Tape, skate sharpening, and other equipment supplies are also provided by the club.
Staff
Three USA Hockey-certified coaches are on staff to direct and teach players for every ice session. Each coach specializes in a different position to facilitate constant skill development over the course of each player's college career.
Players also have a full-time athletic trainer available to them during the week and before/during games.
Facilities
We are very fortunate to have a rink on campus that we call home. All of our games and practices are played at the Houston Field House in Troy, NY. We also have our own dressing room that players can keep their gear in throughout the year.
Students also have access to a newly renovated weight room and track on campus, just a short walk away from the rink.
